1. Services Provided

Pepper’s Pawprints provides professional dog walking and pet sitting services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Dog walking and Days Out

  • Overnight stays in the pet owner’s home

  • Feeding and providing water

  • Administering basic medication

  • Litter box cleaning / waste pickup

  • Basic grooming (brushing, etc.)

  • Playtime, enrichment and companionship

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide full and accurate details about each pet, including medical history, temperament, and special needs.

  • Provide all necessary supplies (e.g., food, leash, litter, medications).

  • Ensure pets are up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.

  • Ensure safe and secure access to the home.

3. Booking and Payments

  • Services must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Last minute slots may be available, just get in contact to find out.

  • Payments are due 24 hours in advance.

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Bank transfer or PayPal

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a 50% charge.

  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours in advance will receive no refund.

  • If Pepper’s Pawprints cancels a service, a full refund will be issued.

5. Emergency Care

  • If your pet becomes ill or injured, I will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact.

  • If unreachable, I reserve the right to seek veterinary care at your expense.

  • I am not liable for outcomes of veterinary treatment performed under emergency conditions.

6. Liability

  • Pepper’s Pawprints will exercise exceptional care in handling pets.

  • I am not financially responsible for damage or injury caused by pets to property, people, or other animals.

  • It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that their pets are friendly and safe to be around others. I ask that any behavioural issues or reactivity be made clear to me in our initial conversation.

7. XL Bully-Type Dogs and Legal Compliance

In accordance with current legislation:

  • Owners of dogs identified as XL Bully types must provide a copy of their Exemption Certificate prior to any service.

  • The dog must be neutered, microchipped, and muzzled and on lead when in public (including during walks).

  • A suitable, well-fitting muzzle and lead must be provided for all walks.

  • If these documents and equipment are not provided, Pepper’s Pawprints reserves the right to refuse service and no refund will be issued.

  • All handlers will follow government guidelines and exercise caution when handling these breeds.

8. Key Handling and Access

  • All keys or entry instructions provided will be stored securely and returned upon request.

9. Photography and Social Media

  • I may take photos of your pet(s) during my service for promotional use. No identifying information about the owners will be shared.

  • Please let us know in writing if you do not wish your pet’s photo to be used.

10. Weather Policy

  • In extreme weather conditions, outdoor walks may be shortened, rescheduled, or replaced with indoor play for the safety of the pet and myself.

11. Overnight Stays

  • Overnight stays typically span from 8 PM – 8 AM unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Any additional visits before or after the overnight stay may be charged separately.

  • Clients must provide a clean and safe environment, basic amenities, and reliable access to the property. I will provide an airbed and sleeping bag.

  • For safety and insurance purposes, Pepper’s Pawprints will not allow third parties into the property during the overnight stay.

  • A deposit of 50% may be required to secure bookings, especially for overnight or holiday periods.

12. Multiple Pets

  • Additional charges may apply for households with more than two pets.

  • All pets must be compatible with each other and with myself.

  • Any pet-specific needs (e.g., separate feeding areas, medication) must be clearly outlined during the initial consultation.

13. Agreement

  • By booking any of my services, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
